Represent your name.

This task was actually quite fun, We had to find out the meaning of our names which i have never thought about before. The Task was to represent our name in a picture, the meaning of my name is 'young child' so what i did was find a child which was stood up. I put the child where the I was meant to be to make my name. I really like the outcome as i think it looks quite cool, i like the way the child has made my name stand out because of her bright clothing.

Deformed Dolphin:

I chose the deformed dolphin idea because i thought it would be quite cool to completely change the look of a dolphin just by adding some random things to it. I drew it in photoshop & used the brush tools to add the shading & light effects. I quite like what its final look is like, i thinks its quite interesting because it just come off of the top of my head.

Everyone had contracted a disease which is turning them into a zombie like state, the people who havn't got the disease are in different groups & are fighting with other groups for resources. So it has a war & futuristic feel to it.
Gameplay 
The gameplay will be just you, & along the way people join your team. You also have big battles with other teams for resources, land & for your life

Trade

Through trade you can start your own trade groups each city, having tradable items which they might want or items in the land like water which every city will need. Because you will only be able to carry a certain amount of items you will start of small.  Then slowly get bigger getting animals or vehicles to carry your goods, but will always face the danger of being raided by other places or npc raiders.

Raider

Being a raider can be easy and will make a title for yourself.  Being renown for your criminal actions. Making money though raiding trade caravans. Stealing from lands in the territory of fractions.  And even establishing large raider groups to control sections of the lawless land

This is our mind map for our Xbox game. I worked with James, Danni & Kyle on it. We had an age range of 19 to 30 to make a game for. The ideas we mainly came up with where war games or futuristic games as they are very popular these days. We thought of these ideas because COD is very popular, ive only played it once but when i played it i became very addicted straight away.

Guerilla advertising idea

For my gurilla advertising my idea was to create a massive interactive ipod in town, the ipod was going to be in different areas around town with different styles and different objectives. I was going to design a app for PCAD to go onto the ipod which were going to be interactive and is going to advertise the art college because that is whar the objective was. >> Guerilla Idea << The idea came from my love of music and gadgets, i also think it would be cool also to have something like an interactive massive ipod in town, the rate that people are making apps these days all types of businesses & shops could easily use something like a massive ipod in town to have their own apps then people can have their own look around on it in their own time.

The two images above are the before & after of me photoshopping the ipod onto the standing advert screen in town. It didn't take me to long to do this but i love the outcome. I think it looks real & i like the way if fitted onto the image i had taken a photo of. Photoshop is probably one of my favourite pieces of software to use & the easiest piece of software for me. I would be happy to do all my work in photoshop as i think it is one of my strongest points.

protect the egg

In the egg task we had to create a contraption which would stop the egg from smashing when being dropped from 3 different heights. We had 2 resources.which were tape & straws to make out design we came up with.
It had to keep the egg safe whilst falling from the heights chosen. We all had a input in what it would look like in the final outcome & it looked near enough the same as the design we had all come up with. The top part of our desgin was a few strips of masking tape for the top of our parachute, we made it fairly thin so that it would float in the air like a parachute would, the second part we made was the straw area. The straws where attached to the egg in order to connect it with the parachute like tape we had made before, the was connected by taping the straws firmly into place. The egg also had masking tape around it almost like armour to protect it from the impact of hitting the floor. After dropping it from the 3 different heights we checked the egg & it had cracked but we think it cracked on the last fall when it hit the floor with a harder impact. Overall the task went well and i got on with the group i was in. 

95.8 Capital FM TV Advert

I think this advert is a very good advert, the reasons for this are it being music & this is one of my big interests, but i think this advert also ups the status of the radio station its advertising. With alot of big names in music being in this advert i think thats why it comes across so well. The age range i think this advert aims for is all ages but i think mainly the audience that would listen to this radio station ranges from teens to people in their early 30's maybe early 40's due to the fact that all of the music played on the station is very up to date & they always have first plays of songs ect. Overall good advert.

Gurilla advertising

 

 I love guerrilla advertising i think it is a really good idea and it is very interesting, i love the way this advert looks like its actually a hoover sucking in a air balloon. very clever how they did this . Amazing stuff to be honest. 

magazine advert

 

 This advert caught my eye due to the fact that it has a lot of colors bursting out of it and it looked interesting which is what makes you want to look at an advert. This magazine advert is obviously about perfume and with all of the sparkles a child would more likely say to their parents that they want this perfume because the picture would attract children more than adults as Tinkerbell is very popular at the moment. But i think it is a good magazine cover due to the colors and what the pictures shows.

Beyonce - 'Heat' Fragrance commercial - 2009

This is also a good advert, i think that adverts attract you more if they have a well know celebrity in it but that is just my opinion. As Beyonce is a very popular celebrity and this advert shows beyonce acting sexy which would attract a lot of men or teenagers but i also think this advert would attract girls to.

MTV Viva 'Up Your Viva' advert 60 sec

This advert was really popular with the school i used to go to, everyone was walking around saying 'up your viva' so this advert was obviously successful. The interesting this about this advert is that it is ridiculous but also funny at the same time, i have to say this got stuck in my head the first time i watched it and that made it even funnier as i used to go round asking people if they had seen this advert and if they didnt they used to search it on you tube so then nearly everyone had seen it!

Volkswagen banned tv commercial Bollocks

This advert was banned from the TV when Volkswagen bought it out due to the language in it, some people may think that its not that bad but this advert is quite funny and has had loads of hits off of youtube for it, and volkswagon is promoting its self as to having a sense of humour whilst trying to sell the product to. I personally think it is a good advert however i can understand why it was banned as parents wouldnt want their children to learn the word that this little girl is saying which is why this is also a bad advert and idea due to the fact i wasnt aloud to be played on the TV. So basically they wasted their money making this advert.
